You are not alone. One out of every six seniors experiences age-related vision loss due to conditions such as macular degeneration, glaucoma, diabetes or cataracts.
Seek out other grandparents through low vision support groups.
Your local senior center, hospital, or library will be able to help you locate such a group whether it is a group that meets in person, online, or by telephone.
Talking with other grandparents will allow you to the opportunity to share concerns and to problem-solve with others in similar situations.
